The goal of the meeting is to promote and bring DANCE closer to new audiences in a space that gives exposure to the networks of urban dances and Freestyle Battles within a competition of a national and international character. Freestyle is a common concept close to ATLAS pedagogical and scenic research.

 

This meeting brings together important Dancers, Hosters, DJs and battle organizations from Mexico and Latin America. Urban dancers specializing in free style compete in various street dance styles (Dancehall, Popping, Waacking or Hip Hop, etc.) who battle for several rounds to obtain an award.

 

ATLAS Mexico Biennial International Dance Festival in collaboration with the State Institute of Culture of Guanajuato through the Guanajuato Arts Center, come together to generate: Battles - ATLAS/Freestyle.
