ATLAS Mexico Festival Talks are spaces for reflection where invited teachers share their research, creative processes and pedagogical proposals centered on movement and the body in dance. They work as a complement to ATLAS/Labs and ATLAS/Scene, showcasing systems of experimentation applied in training and performance.
Through participatory dialogues, the exchange between artists and movement researchers is fostered, creating register and memory around methodologies, techniques, body practices and new structures for scenic processes. This sessions help transform the practical experience into the primal frameworks and conceptual resources for creation.
The talks strengthen the relationship between teachers and participants: this direct encounter allows to place proposals into real work contexts, clarify formative objectives and opens pathways for collective research that nourish both practice and creative process.
These gatherings not only transmit knowledge, but they also build critical and creative networks that expand the possibilities of contemporary dance, impulsing sustainable practices deeply rooted in collective research.
